Fresh wines for summer

We’re going through tough times, but at Menade, as well as being optimistic, we provide bottled happiness through our wines.

Our recommendations for these summer months are:

Menade Sauvignon

The Sauvignon Blanc variety from our land offers aromas of stone fruits, with tropical and citrus notes. The climate of this area, an early harvest and respectful work in the vineyard and cellar allow us to create a wonderfully fresh, sweet wine, ideal for aperitifs.

In Menade Sauvignon Blanc you will find a perfect companion to harmonise with friends, sunsets, vegetables, salads and barbecues.

Menade Verdejo

The flagship wine from Bodegas Menade is a must-have in any fridge this summer – both at home and in the portable mini-fridge. Here we can perceive aromas closer to herbal, such as fennel or fresh grass, and we love its balanced acidity and mineral sensation in the mouth.

A wine to harmonise with everyone and everything.

Clandestino Tinto

Still think red wines aren’t suitable for summer? That’s because you haven’t tried Clandestino Tinto, a young wine made with grapes from very old Tempranillo vines located in Toro.

When we say that it’s a young wine, this is because it undergoes no barrel ageing; the whole process of development is carried out in stainless steel vats. What’s more, it’s a natural wine, like Nosso, so to maintain its microbiological stability we allow malolactic fermentation to occur spontaneously.

We harvest early and take great care with the extraction, moderate and delicate, to offer a wine in which fresh fruit and a light but tasty flavour predominate. We recommend drinking it chilled!
